HP LoadRunner performance tests from scratch
Training in performance tests using HP LoadRunner is intended for people who are starting their adventure with performance tests and have basic knowledge of programming in C language. During the training we will learn how to configure the environment and learn the best methods for creating performance test scripts in HP LoadRunner.
The training has the option of extending the material by 1-2 days for exercises on any client systems, which is an added value. Automatic scripts created during the workshop can be used at a later stage during the client’s work.
The area of the training
- Creation of the VeGen script
- Identification and configuration of required input parameters
- Verification of scripts operation
- Debug scripts
- “Transaction” functionality
- Adding “transaction” to the script during and after recording
- What are parameters and how do they work?
- Solving the problem of script replay thanks to parameterization
- Parameterizing the script for the stress test
- correlations
- Comparing dynamically generated values ??using Auto Correlation
- Indicators, charts
- Checkpoints
- Creating reusable actions
- Action configurations
- Coding tests in C
- Basic debugging techniques in VuGen
- Basics of the LoadRunner function
- Correlation of dynamic values
- Creating rules for correlations
- Import and export rules for correlation
Additionally: Work and exercises on test automation on client systems
